The year of the rooster

Howzit!

Checking out the Chinese calander - the oldest one exisiting; bet you didn't know that. Its been there since 2600BC. Yup. I watched Memoirs of a Geisha and the whole Asian culture thing is a trip for me...so succinct a culture - simply fascinating. I digress; the point being that the year is coming to a close and my birthday in neigh (30th Dec). I have done much this year, switched jobs, gotten engaged, grown closer to my man and my sister - a few sad things as well, buried an uncle, did some not so plesant things, got sick. In all, i count it all joy.

I shall be less sarcastic next year, more thankful, planning a wedding, working out (3kilos to loose....), smile more, work more (yer heard me right), pray more - basically be a rooster :)
